A picture of a Las Veas area CVS store, but not the one I went to.
This article is part of our series exploring what exactly the Palau digital residency ID can be used for.
I made my tenth attempt to use the Palau digital residency ID (“the ID”) on the week of October 16th, 2023
I tried to use the Palau ID to purchase alcohol at a Las Vegas area CVS store.
Result: successful.
Explanation: I went to a CVS store to purchase a six pack of beer at a self-check out kiosk. The kiosk flagged a CVS employee who came over and asked me for government issued photo-ID. I showed her my Palau digital residency ID, with its birth date. The employee accepted the ID and I completed the purchase.
I’ll continue trying to use the ID, and report the results here on Malakouti Law.
