Can a Palau Digital Residency ID suffice to obtain a Nevada state birth certificate?

I made my third attempt to use the Palau digital residency ID (“the ID”) on September 6th, 2023

I tried to use the ID to request a Nevada birth certificate online through www.vitalchek.com.

Result: successful.

Explanation: To request a Nevada birth certificate of another person on the Vitalchek website, I was asked to provide an official ID from the list below.

I uploaded a copy of my Palau digital residency ID to the website. One day later, on September 7th, I received an email that my documents were “approved.” Another day later, on September 8th, I received an email that my “Order shipped!”

I consider this one of the most impressive use-cases for the Palau digital residency ID because inability to get vital records such as a birth certificate is one of the most common, important instances of document dependence.
